The Hummer EV 2X SUV is the base-level trim and is ideal if you want a newer electric SUV at a lower price point within the 2024 lineup. Starting at $96,550 MSRP, it's the only trim with a dual-motor configuration but still boasts powertrain strength. It has up to 570 hp and 7,400 lb.-ft. of torque, which is impressive for its large size.

GMC states that the 2X's electric driving range is up to 303 miles with its 20-module Ultium Battery pack. Charging is easy with an onboard 19.2kW AC charger and 300kW DC fast charging capabilities at public charging stations.

While there's no third-row seating, you can fit up to five passengers with foldable back seats for additional cargo room. The upscale cabin has standard features, including two large infotainment screens, an Infinity Roof, and extensive connectivity options, like Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and Wi-Fi hotspot subscription.

Even as a base trim, the 2X is popular because it's an all-new electric SUV model with robust power performance, optimized charging capabilities, and modern design at a lower cost comparably.
